File Name: Calculation Method of Lens Focal Length
Category: Technical Manual
Brief introduction:
Formula calculation method:
Field of View and Focal Length Calculation The field of view refers to the size of the object being captured. The size of the field of view is determined by the distance from the lens to the object being captured, the focal length of the lens, and the required imaging size. The focal length of the lens, the size of the field of view and the distance between the lens and the object being taken are calculated as follows:
f = wL / W
f = hL / H
f: lens focal length
w: width of the image (imaging width of the object on the CCD target surface)
W: width of the subject
L: distance from the subject to the lens
h: image height (the height of the object being imaged on the CCD target surface)
H: height of the subject
